New tax break for renovating 100-year-old buildings in KIlkenny

Residents and businesses in Kilkenny city can avail of new tax breaks announced today.

locals will be able to claim income tax deductions on the cost or refubishing homes or shops in parts of the city if the building’s more than a hundred years old.

It’s part of Environment Minister Alan Kelly’s new programme to renew our oldest urban centres.

It’s also available in the other five Irish cities.
