A new Tourism & Heritage Strategy is being drawn up for St Mullins.
Carlow County Council has appointed Consultants to develop a plan for the picturesque south Carlow village.
The strategy will establish a vision for the future of the area with a aim to attracting investment and identifying a series of projects which bring about social, economic and environmental benefit to the area.
Cathaoirleach of Carlow County Council Tom O’Neill says it’ll help develop the potential of the area. ” This will be huge for the area and will benefit everyone greatly. We also want local involvement as this will be key.”
