The boundary commission who are reviewing the boundary between Waterford and Kilkenny may not now produce their final report until the end of May.
They were to report back by the end of March but during discussions today with local councillors, they say this may not be possible.
South Kilkenny based councillor Pat Dunphy was among those at the meeting earlier and he says its unlikely that they will be able to produce a report by the end of the month.
