The number of unfinished housing estates in Carlow was reduced from 69 to 53 in 2013.
That’s according to a the County Councils annual report which says the number came down due to the taking in charge of estates and developments which are now considered to have been completed.
The council say that to tackle the remaining ones they’re having continuous discussion with those involved in the estates and using laws available to the local authority that help tackle it.
