The official programme launch for a big international festival is taking place in Carlow today.
It’s expected up to 10,000 people will be visiting the town and county over the course of the Pan Celtic Festival that runs from the 18th to the 23rd of this month.
The programme of events is being launched this afternoon in the Seven Oaks Hotel in Carlow.
The festival also incorporates a number of other events such as the Celtic Taste of Carlow, which is a food and craft market.
Speaking to KCLR News, one of those involved with the Festival, Emma Uí Bhroin says this is also expected to be a huge draw this year.
