An Bord Pleanala has granted planing permission to Nimbus Property Company Ltd to construct 70 dwellings in Tullow, County Carlow
The Glendale Estate on the Shilleallagh Road has been left vacant since 2008, with Nimbus purchasing the site in 2013 and their planning application was refused by Carlow County council in July of last year as it was contrary to the Principles for Urban Design and Placemaking for Carlow County County Council Development plan 2022-2028
This decision was subsequently appealed to An Bord Pleanala who have now granted permission for the construction of 53 two bed units, 16 three bed units and 1 four bed unit
It also includes garden areas for each dwelling to include parking, boundary fencing and boundary walls as required and a communal open space areas to include a play area
