One man’s been arrested following the discovery of a growhouse in Carlow Town.
The finding was made today during a planned search at a premises just off the Tullow Road.
170 mature cannabis plants were discovered as well as a significant quantity of harvested material – with an estimated value of €235,000 between the two.
The man arrested & is being detained at Carlow Town Garda Station under section two of the drug trafficking act – he can be held for up to 7 days.
