The parents of a Kilkenny teenager in need of specialist surgery are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support for her.
17-year-old Maria Hogan has a rare, complex condition which is largely unknown in Irish medical circles – it saw her life change overnight just before her 16th birthday.
€120,000 is needed to help her get a procedure abroad and a GoFundMe page launched last week has already yielded more than half that amount. (Read more and donate here).
