A post-mortem examination is being carried out today on the body of a man found in the River Suir in South Kilkenny yesterday.
The discovery was made after 3 o’clock yesterday.
His remains have not been officially identified yet.
The body was in the water for some time.
Gardaí say his death is not being treated as suspicious.
