Potential of Kilkenny city’s train station to the fore of lecture later

The potential of Kilkenny city’s train station’s a topic of discussion this evening.

The Kilkenny Railway Heritage Society has another lecture at Rothe House which focuses on the possibilities around the section of platform that was closed many years ago.

It’s been lying idle while development has happened all around it including the MacDonagh Junction Shopping Centre, while there are plans for a hotel too.
