The students and staff at St Leos college in Carlow will hold a PRIVATE prayer service at Carlow Cathedral at 12.30 this afternoon as they remember the 4 young women who died in a road crash this week.
Gemma Nolan, Niamh Doyle, Chermaine Carroll and Ashling Middleton were all past pupils of the local school.
All 4 lost their lives in the crash between a car and a van near Athy on Tuesday night while their friend 20 year old Dayna Kearney is still in hospital in Dublin where she is being treated for serious injuries.
Funeral arrangements have been made for the 3 Carlow girls that died
The funeral for 20 year old Chermaine Carroll wil be held in Bennekery tomorrow morning
19 year old Gemma Nolan from Idrone park on the Tullow road will be laid to rest tomorrow afternoon following 1.30 mass in the Holy family church Askea.
Niamh Doyle, also 19 and from Mount Leinster park will be buried on Saturday after 12 noon funeral mass in Askea.
Funeral for Ashling Middleton will be held in Naas on Saturday at 2pm.
