Report on future of Muine Bheag Vocational School being presented today

A report from the Muine Bheag Vocational School Task Force is being presented to the Kilkenny Carlow Education and Training Board today.

The Task Force was set up to determine the future of the school after it was announced in March that they were set to close their doors.

However, an apparent U-turn was taken when it was announced days later that the school would in fact continue to accept enrollment applications.

The Task Force, which is made up of representatives of parents and staff at the school and members of the Education and Training board, have now finalised their report which will be presented today.
