Residents of Kilkenny terrace calling for road safety measures to be put in place

Residents of St Johns Terrace in Kilkenny are calling for road safety measures to be put in place after what they say have been a few near misses.
Councillor Andrew McGuinness says he’s been contacted by people living there as the 30 kilometre per hour speed limit that’s in place along the Dublin Road, doesn’t extend as far as them.
Today’s municipal district meeting in the city will hear a motion for that to be changed and for a protective rail to be put in front of the last four houses.
Speaking to KCLR News, Councillor McGuinness says residents do feel they’re in a dangerous situation at the moment.
