Residents of county Carlow town and surrounds reminded to have electrical equipment charged up ahead of planned outage

Develop Tullow Association is reminding those of the town and surrounds to charge up electrical equipment.

It’s ahead of a planned outage by ESB Networks which kicks in at 8 o’clock tonight and is due to run until 8 o’clock tomorrow (Tuesday) morning.

Advice is to have your phones and laptops charged, keep fridges and freezers closed as much as possible and have a torch close to hand.
