Runners in Carlow set off on 60 kilometre footrace

About 200 runners have set off on a 60 kilometre trail footrace from Carlow this morning.

The ‘Stone Mad’ race is currently underway with those taking part having left Carlow’s Town Park in the past half our.

There are three distances involved so people of different levels of fitness can take part and it’ll take runners going all the way from Carlow to Graiguenamanagh.
