Scenes from Kilkenny and Carlow look set for the big screen in the UK this afternoon.
A half-hour highlights programme on Ireland’s international stage cycle race Rás na mBan will broadcast on Eurosport 2 from 4:30pm.

It will feature action from the 18th edition of the event which is based in Kilkenny and heads into surrounding counties with 22 teams of five riders inbattle over six stages and five days for the coveted race leader’s magenta jersey.
Winner, Glenmore native, Mia Griffin and fellow Irish woman Caoimhe O’Brien joined their team mates from the DAS Hutchinson Brother UK squad to battle teams from all over Europe and the USA with riders from 13 nations including Olympic and world championship riders.
