A second gardener from Carlow has scoped a gold medal in the Bloom Festival.
Ingrid Swan, originally from Carlow and now living in Kildare, won gold in the concept garden category.

Her design, The Garden of Sculptures, was one of the largest and featured over 40 sculptures.
Deirdre Pender from Russelstown won the first Gold medal at the Festival yesterday.
She picked up the accolade for her garden design Idir Dha Shaoil meaning Between Two Worlds.
