Significant increase in bicycle thefts in Kilkenny according to Green Party Councillor Maria Dollard

There’s been a significant increase in bicycle thefts across Kilkenny, according to a local Green Party councillor.

Maria Dollard says Gardaí are advising owners to record their bike’s serial number, as stolen ones are often recovered but their owners can’t be identified.

She’s also urging cyclists to use good locks and secure parking and has advice for people living in estates;
