Significant progress on Kilkenny Campus Project

A local TD has confirmed that a letter of intent has been issued to a contractor for enabling works for two new schools in Kilkenny.

Deputy John McGuinness told KCLR news that there’s ”significant progress” on the highly anticipated Kilkenny Campus project.

The brief for the project comprises of the development of two new schools on a green field site to cater for 1,000 pupils. The campus will house two schools Pobalscoil Osraí and Kilkenny City Vocational School.

The Kilkenny and Carlow Education Board has been asked to oversee the project.
