Sleeping Out, Speaking Out will be launched later this morning.
The CEO of the Good Shepherd Centre in Kilkenny will be in Carlow to launch the campaign which will see him stay out on a local street for 24 hours on this day next week, (10th Oct, World Homeless Day), in an act of solidarity with those who have no place to call home.
More than 16,000 people are registered homeless in Ireland including 5,000 children and Noel Sherry told KCLR News the true figure is higher;
