Spanish company signs major investment into O’Hara’s Brewing Company in Bagenalstown

A Spanish brewery has signed a major investment in a local company.
Hijos de Rivera – a family run business which distributes drinks worldwide – has taken a 32% stake in O’Hara’s Brewery.
It’s not known what the financial details of the investment are but it comes on the back of an announcement by the local company earlier this year that they had acquired Wicklow-based Craigies Cider.
They already provide Falling Apple craft cider as part of a collaboration with Armagh cider company.
