The problem of cars speeding through Grange near Tullow was once again a hot topic for Carlow Councillors this week.
Locals had previously contacted KCLR about the fact that nothing had been done to deter people from speeding through the village and potentially killing someone.
Councillor John Pender had asked the council to look at reducing the speed-limit there from 60km to 50km, that was passed by the council at this weeks meeting of the local authority.
Speaking to KCLR News, Councillor Pender says the speed limits might not go far enough to tackle the problem.
