St Canice’s Credit Union says it’s going to be able to lend up to fifty million euro this year.
Over the last eighteen months, the local credit union has seen five other branches from Kilkenny and Laois merged under the St Canice’s banner.

It now has nearly sixty thousand members and its AGM is taking place this evening at half past seven in Hotel Kilkenny.
Last year, thirty two million euro was lent to members and Manager, Claire Lawton told KCLR News they are hoping to vastly improve on that number this year.
