A Ferrybank woman has described the nightmare for residents of living near a meat processing plant because of a pungent smell.
Afra Cronin moved house over the smell that hangs over the area surrounding the Allied Irish Beef Processors facility.
A public meeting will take place about the odours and other environmental issues this Friday in Ferrybank with a further meeting planned for Ardkeen on October 21st.
Afra says she’s ran a continuous battle with authorities over the environmental issues in south Kilkenny.
