Emergency services were called to a fire in an industrial estate in Callan, Kilkenny this afternoon.
The blaze broke out in a storage shed in Westcourt Business Park, in the region of Premium Foods, shortly after 2 o’clock.

It’s understood a man who had been working near the shed escaped uninjured.
Four units of Kilkenny Fire Service attended as did the Gardaí.
KCLR News understands the shed contained a lot of cardboard which created large amounts of smoke in the area.
