Concerns about poor lighting at the Square in Freshford will come before the council today.
Fine Gael Councillor Mary Hilda Cavanagh says the lighting is particularly bad near the Catholic Church in the village.
She plans to raise the issue at this morning’s meeting of Castlecomer Municipal District, in the hope of getting the matter resolved.
She told KCLR news that numerous people have brought it to her attention.
