TD Says Rural Ireland "Just as Entitled to Decent Public Transport"

People in rural Ireland are just as entitled to a decent public transport service as people in Dublin.

So says Deputy Bobby Aylward who is urging all parties to reach a resolution in the Bus Eireann dispute before an all out strike goes ahead next week.

He says closing bus routes is just going to lead to more rural isolation and he wants a review of Expressway routes to ensure that towns and villages are not left without a service.
