It’s been claimed in the Dáil that another former resident of the south east foster home at the centre of the Grace case still had visits there as recently as 2015.
That’s six years after Grace was withdrawn from the home over fears of alleged sexual abuse.
Mick Wallace made the claims in the Dáil last night that the girl who was a resident until 2013 still visited there up until 2015 but it was a private arrangement.
Meanwhile a final vote on the terms of reference for the Grace inquiry will now happen today.
It was deferred last night to give TD’s more time to consider the plans but the inquiry could be set up before the week is out.
However several TD’s have hit out at the fact that other residents at the same home will have to wait for their own inquiry.
Meanwhile,
Local TD Bobby Aylward says 12 months is a long time to wait for an inquiry into the so-called ‘Grace Case’ to be completed.
However, speaking to KCLR News, he says that the thorough investigation that’s needed has to be given time.
