A number of temporary route closures are due in parts of Kilkenny today.
From 7am to 2pm the Kells Road from the Kilkenny Ring Road to Bamford Cross (Goslingstown/Ballinalina) will be undergoing surface dressing works with local access where possible. Diversions as follows;
Also today the L2619 Flagmount Road, just off the R712 Carlow / Kilkenny route close to Paddy’s Country Pub, will be closed 7am to 7pm for works with traffic diverted via the L6662, L2621 and L6663 Freneystown.
While from 8am this (Monday) morning to 5pm on Friday, 31st July the outbound lane on the Castlecomer New Road from Gas House Lane to the Old Mart Road will be closed (reopening for the weekend from 5pm on Friday to 8am Monday during the works).
