Ten motorists in the space of a hour detected on busy Kilkenny city school routes driving while using mobile phones

Tickets were issued to ten motorists caught driving while using mobile phones in Kilkenny city.

The latest Garda sting took place for an hour yesterday on Dominic Street and also Granges Road, both busy school routes.

13 people died on roads across the local Division last year and Roads Policing inspector Paul Donohoe has been telling KCLR News that distracted driving is something his team’s going to focus on for 2025 to hammer home the message;
