The Kilkenny sculptor behind a controversial piece in County Clare says not all are against his creation.
The ‘Púca of Ennistymon’ drew the wrath of some, including one parish priest who called for the project to be abandoned saying putting a statue up to a fairy which has connotations to bad luck is inappropriate, disrespectful and offensive.
But its creator Aidan Harte’s been telling our Sue Nunn that it’s renewed interest in the area in which it’s been installed.
