There’ll be no local Rose taking part in the televised Rose of Tralee competition this year

Carlow or Kilkenny won’t be represented in the final 32 roses heading for the Dome in Tralee next week – after the results were announced this morning.

Tara Roche is representing Kilkenny, and Ciara Dooley is there for Carlow but the pair won’t make it onto the live show.

Kilkenny escort, Patrick O’Neill was yesterday paired with the Toronto Rose who’s already through to the final round.
