Thieves targeted mourners at a funeral in Co Kilkenny on Saturday afternoon.
A number of cars were broken into at the graveyard in Callan while a funeral was underway.
Cash, handbags and electronic equipment was stolen after the thieves smashed the car windows.
Kilkenny Gardai are appealing for anyone who might have seen something suspicious in the area around 1pm to contact them.
Separately a car was broken into in Castlecomer on Saturday evening.
A handbag was stolen from an MPV in the town between 7pm and 8pm.
If anyone has any information they’re being asked to get in touch with Kilkenny Garda Station and you’re also being warned that if you have valuable items in your car to lock them in the boot and not leave them visible to the outside world.
