St Luke’s General Hospital for Carlow and Kilkenny is ranked among the busiest hospitals in Ireland today, as the number of patients waiting on beds nationwide rise.
According to the latest figures from the INMO’s Trolley Watch, 485 people across the country are without a hospital bed this morning.
St Luke’s has 30 patients waiting for a bed with 13 in the emergency department, while 17 are waiting on wards.
