Three Carlow schools set to advance building projects

Christmas has come a little early for three Carlow schools.

The Department of Education has revealed that Presentation de la Salle in Bagenalstown has moved a step closer to getting a new school building under the Large Scale Capital Programme.

Ballyconnell National School in Tullow has had initial project approval for its extension to add a new mainstream classroom.

While Carlow National School on Green Road in Carlow Town is set for two Special Educational Needs (SEN) rooms.
