Three people hospitalised after M9 collision in South Kilkenny

Three people have been taken to hospital after a crash on the M9 motorway in South Kilkenny this afternoon.

The two-car collision happened in the Northbound lane between Mullinavat and Knocktopher shortly before 3 o’clock.

That stretch of road had been closed but is now reopen to traffic.

The injuries sustained by those involved are not believed to be life-threatening.
