Tributes are being paid to local man Peter Healy who’s being laid to rest today after being killed in a road crash this week.
Cyclist Peter died after he was hit by a truck on Tuesday in Kilkenny.
The funeral is on at St Patrick’s Church around now with burial in Foulkstown Cemetery.
He was a well-known member of the Kilkenny Musical Society, as well as other local theatre groups.
Chairperson Sarah Brennan paid an emotional tribute on KCLR this morning – thanking Peter for all the laughs and good times he gave them in the rehearsal rooms.
