Truck driver arrested for dangerous driving on main Callan-Kilkenny road

A truck driver was arrested for dangerous driving on the N76 main Callan to Kilkenny road yesterday.

Gardaí reported the 40 foot lorry overtaking a school bus on a solid double white line on the approach to a staggered junction in the Cuffesgrange area.

The driver was stopped and arrested for dangerous driving.

They were subsequently charged to appear in court next month.
