Kilkenny’s set to welcome two Ambassadors today.
The county’s been paired with Romania for Ireland’s hosting of the European Union Presidency.

As part of that the county council will host a visit by H.E. Ambassador Brendan Ward, Ambassador of Ireland to Romania and H.E. Ambassador Laurențiu-Mihai Ștefan, Ambassador of Romania to Ireland.
Locally based Romanian native Liviu Iftime is key to the ties between the two areas.
