Two people were taken to hospital following an accident outside Ballymurphy in Carlow today.

The two car collision occurred at around half past 1 on the Ballymurphy to Kiltealy road.
An ambulance was in attendance along with Carlow Gardaí.
The road was temporarily blocked but is now believed to have been cleared and reopened.
The injuries sustained are not believed to be serious.
