Two juveniles remain in custody this morning after an attempted armed robbery in Kilkenny yesterday evening.
Shortly after 5 o’clock the two boys entered the premises in Cillín Hill where they threatened staff with a firearm.
However, they fled empty handed and were arrested by Gardaí responding to the incident.
They were brought to Kilkenny Garda Station for questioning.
Meanwhile, four men were also arrested in the city yesterday afternoon on suspicion of burglary offenses.
Their car was stopped by Gardaí in the city and they were arrested.
They’re suspected of having been involved in burglaries in both Kilkenny and Tipperary over the last few days.
