From now on, Vicar Street in Kilkenny City will be a car-only area.
HGVs are no longer allowed to travel on that street where Central Access Scheme works have been taking place for the past two weeks.

It reopened to cars over the weekend following a number of delays.
Speaking to KCLR Live today, Michael Murphy from Kilkenny County Council says there are also plans in place to make it a one-way street.
