The victim of an assault in Thomastown may have facial scars for the rest of their life.
Gardaí are investigating after a man suffered serious injuries during an altercation outside a pub on Market Street.
It happened shortly after midnight on Sunday night and the victim had to be hospitalised.
Speaking to KCLR, Sergeant Paul Donoghue says he may be permanently scarred.
