A visitor ban’s in place at University Hospital Waterford.

It’s due to an outbreak which is understood to be Covid-19 related.

In a tweet, hospital management says visiting can be arranged by contacting the relevant ward manager for exceptional circumstances.

These include for critically ill patients, children or those who require special assistance.
