Wind warning issued

A status yellow wind warning has been issued for many parts of the country this afternoon.

The areas to be worst affected include Munster, Carlow, Kildare, Kilkenny, Laois and Wexford

Forecasters are warning that winds will reach speeds of 45 to 65 km/h with gusts of 90 to 110 km/h possible in some places.
