Young people are being encouraged to talk about mental health

A local Comhairle na n-Óg group are encouraging young people to talk about mental health.

It follows yesterdays ‘Lets go mental’ event which ran on the parade in Kilkenny.

The nationwide campaign was rolled out to promote positive mental health in young people.

Speaking to KCLR, Sarah Lanigan from Kilkenny Comhairle says young people need to know it’s ok not to be ok.
