This show was first broadcast on Thursday, February 16th, 2017.
Tonight’s show featured in an in-depth interview with Matt and IFA Grain Committee chairman Liam Dunne where they discussed international and national issues around grain production.
Matt also caught up with EU Agriculture Commissioner Phil Hogan recently as he addressed the IFJ Global Trade Conference who gave a European Commission perspective on agricultural and agribusiness affairs and we also heard some key comments from his address.
We had our usual news and diary items and finally we heard from Kevin Cunningham, chairman of the recently formed Maize Industry Group on, among other things, the links between tillage and dairy farming.
We then had the weekly Mart Report with George Candler.
