Limerick have beaten Wexford 4-16 to 1-11 in the first of the day’s All Ireland quarter finals.
They will now face Kilkenny on Sunday August 10 in Croke Park for a place in the All Ireland Final.
Preceding that will be the clash of Kilkenny and Waterford in the All Ireland minor hurling semi final.
Waterford overcame Dublin in Thurles earlier by 2-18 to 19 points
In the other All Ireland senior quarter final, Tipperary overcame Dublin 2-24 to 0-15 in Thurles. John O’Dwyer with the two goals.
Tipp will now face Cork on August 17.
Elsewhere, Galway thrashed Antrim by 2-20 to 9 points in the other minor hurling Quarter Final at Kingspan Breffni Park.
