Housing Market “Unfriendly” to First-Time Buyers

A Kilkenny auctioneer says the housing market is extremely unfriendly to first-time buyers at the moment.

Ciarán Dunphy of DNG Ella Dunphy’s Auctioneers made a submission on what they feel should be done as regards housing in this afternoon’s budget.

They’re looking for a ‘Help to Buy Equity Scheme’ for new builds and first-time buyers.
