11 people waiting for a bed at St Luke’s Hospital for Carlow & Kilkenny

11 people are waiting for a bed at St Luke’s Hospital this morning (10 September).

Figures from the Irish Nurses & Midwives Organisation show that five of them are in the Emergency Department with six others on various wards.

It’s down though from yesterday’s high of 17 on trolleys at the local facility – 9 were in the ED with 9 elsewhere.
